Would anyone be interested in a book club(see below)?
Book Club
Just an idea....would anyone be interested or have time for starting a book club? I think it would be fun to all read the same book and share thoughts on it, but realisically I don't know that we'd have time. What do you all think?

Re: Book Club
I think it would be fun, but might be hard to find a book that nobody has read....maybe we could have 2 groups or something.
Re: Book Club
I'd be in to that. Although these days it takes me forever to finish a book. Can't think why....

Re: Book Club
What kind of books do we want to read? Anyone like Nicolas Sparks? He has a new one.

Re: Book Club
I am so on board! What would you guys think of reading books that are being turned into movies in the future? I always love to read a book and compare it to the movie. I started reading Atonement but never finished it. The movie was amazing, though. Also, have any of you read or heard of Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer? I have several friends and family members that have recommended it to me, but I haven't read it yet. But several of my adult male friends are recommending this teen vampire romance story?!!
Re: Book Club
Amy- I heard about that book the other day on a talk show. Sounds kinds strange but interesting. People are raving about it. And isn't it a three part series? That could be fun!
Re: Book Club
I'm a big Nicholas Sparks fan. I also like Amy's idea of soon to be movie books...but we'd have to wait till DVD most likely these days!
Re: Book Club
I'm up for anything too! I guess people could just suggest books they've heard are good or books they've been wanting to read and we could take a vote. Whatever you all would like to do.

Re: Book Club
Why don't we all suggest a book and then have a poll!

Michelle-Here's the book club thread. I thought we could all suggest a book and vote or something. I don't know how to decide what book we should read. If anyone has an idea just let me know! I'd love to get started.

Re: Book Club
Me too! I know you can find some good book club reading lists online, so maybe we should look into that. Here's a site that talks about choosing what to read:
http://www.readinggroupguides.com/roundtable/choose.asp
It looks like 19 Minutes is a popular book club choice right now.
