OK I am out of other reads - can I start yet? I haven't done a book club thing so not sure exactly what the "rules" are

my book still isn't here, but you guys go ahead & I'll catch up. I'm a fast reader.

Ha ha - I didn't start yet but last night I looked at the glossary of terms or whatever they call it - all the definitions on the front page. There are some really funny ones. Sounds like this is going to be a fun book for all us new-ish moms to be reading together

I'm ready to start too. Anyone want to post a guideline of chapters/time (as in Ch 1-5 week 1, etc...)? Then we can chat as we go...

yay! My book arrived today! So, what does everyone think? Is 5 chapters per week a good pace for everyone? Although, just glancing at the first few chapters, they seem pretty short - should we make it like 8 or 10?

these are very short chapters. I have to fess up and say that I started - its very easy to read. I actually think that Ashley should read it too based on some MIL comments I am good with 8-10 a week as I always read at least a chapter to put myself to sleep at night

i started the book last night too. Natalie, you're right about the definitions - too funny!!

I've never done a book club before either, so I'm not sure on the rules either. I thought that maybe we could have a different thread for each section of reading. So, maybe:

Momzillas - Chapters 1-10
Momzillas - Chapters 11-20
Momzillas - Chapters 21-30

WDYT? I'm really good at over-engineering things, so if you think that's too structured JLMK! I'm just thinking this way might be easier to keep everyone in the groove & if you fall behind the group, you can still chat in your appropriate thread. thoughts?
