this was a cute movie. it had the same movement as napolean dynomite. the girl kind of annoyed me but the ending made the whole movie worth it.

Re: juno
I saw previews for this, and I had to comment. I was honestly disgusted by the whole theme of the movie- girl decides she wants to "try" sex in high school and gets pregnant. I know it happens all the time (way too much) but I don't think teenage girls need to see it in such a casual light, because then they think it's alright. Okay, rant over. I hate Hollywood! j/k

Re: juno
Hmmm....I honestly liked this movie, because I'm a sucker for a good soundtrack. But, I didn't like the ending--I was really depressed afterwards, even though it was technically a happy ending. And yes, it was definitely portrayed pretty casually, Katie--I totally understand how you feel.
Re: juno
I agree with Amy. I personally really liked the movie BUT having said that, I would never let my child watch a movie where sex/pregnancy was portrayed so lightheartedly. It is definitely for adults only.
Re: juno
the reason i liked the ending so much was because they did the mature responsible thing and gave the baby to vanessa. yes them having sex in the first place was immature and irresponsible but they did the best thing for everyone in the situation. it made her so happy and i loved the little interlude between vanessa and barb. i also loved how bleeker got in the bed with her and held her. that was so sweet. you could also see the pain juno was going through with giving the baby up but you could also see that she knew it was the right decision.

I love the movie I'm gonna buy it! It did make me cry though at times and I think sex is portrayedin everything nowadays so this movie doesn't affect what kids think about it in anyway besides look at Jamie lynn Spears she was on a popular kids show and is now pregnant!!! She has fans who look up to her which I think is worse.

Re: juno
Well I haven't seen but you can figure from the Movie that it ends with her giving the baby up. I'll still go and rent it!!

Re: juno
okay, I just finished watching this movie & I have to say, I really liked it. Katie, I completely agree with you though, sex is really portrayed WAY too casually these days, and like kristin, I wouldn't let my kids watch it.
I loved the way the movie was written. I must be emotional today b/c I cried like 5 times during it (i won't say when I cried as not to spoil it for anyone who wants to see it). Oh, and the soundtrack is awesome! I'm going out to buy it tomorrow. I rate it a close second to the Garden State Soundtrack.

I really liked it too. I just love that dry kind of dialogue between the characters. Even though it wasn't a particularly happy movie I laughed in a lot of places

Re: juno
Just watched it this weekend finally- loved it! (And Gabe actually watched it to much to my surprise!) Yeah, it does portray casual sex- but honestly that was a lot less 'sex' than most pics I see. I thought the dialogue was very witty and funny.
And it totally fed my baby fever!
