jodi picoult!!

i just wanted to share that jodi picoult is doing a book signing tonight here in dayton! i am going and can't wait to meet her. i plan to take my camera and hopefully get a couple of pics with her! will share my experience when i get home. i'm going with our neighbor and her 3 week old daughter so its a girl's night!

okay so she is AMAZING! i am so a life long fan now! my neighbor couldn't go, she had a long hard day, so it was just me. jodi is so laid back and such a normal person. she read three chapters from her newest book, handle with care, and then took questions. she took my question!!! and looked right at me the whole time she was answering! her 2010 book is to the publisher and she has finished writing her 2011 book. my sister's keeper comes out in theaters on june 26! it has cameron diaz and alec baldwin in it! hollywood changed the end of the story though.

i am so impressed with her and she does so much research for all of her books. she loves writing thought provoking and controversial books. i got a few pics too!

there were a lot of people. i was #175. the whole second story of the place was PACKED!

amy- my favorite one so far, is the first one i read, plain truth! it is so amazing. this woman is so talented at not only writing but research! she does all of her research, very in depth, before she writes her books. she stayed with an actual amish family in lancaster, PA for the book. that was my question !

any of you that haven't read any of her books i do highly suggest her! just know going in that her books are usually heart wrenching, controversial, and very thought provoking. i am such a nerd that i only need 2 more of her books and i will have all of them!

i don't know which one i will read next. it will probably be the one that came out this month, handle with care. i was going to read them in order to observe the progression of her writing but i don't know.
